  1. I've given blood twice. Once here at school and once at church. I thought that when he showed us the blood bag and explainde how it was separated into three separate bags was kinda helpful. It shows me where my blood is going and what it's going to do for other people.

  3. One thing I found interesting about the presentation was the fact that one person can save up to three people. That is something that I didn't know before the presentation. Many things about in the presentation was useful. Like the knowledge that the used needles are destroyed so some junkie don't go dumpster diving and find him an needle to shoot his heroine through.

  4. I thought that the most entertaining part of his presentation was when he told us that plasma was like the color of our skin. And also he kept me entertained by not just speaking about blood or the red cross. During is Presentation he also through jokes in with it and made it a lot more interesting.

  8. He stated that giving blood can save up to three lives. This can be very important. I also liked how he explained each of the blood cells and told us what there job was. He also gave us many situations in which blood would be needed. I would like to know that there is blood if I ever need it or someone else needs it in an emergency. It was also interesting when he explained the blood types. I didn't know that much about blood but thanks to him I know a lot now. I now believe that it is important to give blood when given the chance.

  10. The presentation was slow yet very appealing the guy was kinda funny and he made sense to me. He informed everyone on how to find out their blood type the easy way and that is important to how your future visits to the hospital.

  15. i thought in was interesting that they keep up with how much blood you donate. i did not know that they separate the plasma and the platelets from each other the way they did. i also didn't know how much blood was in the body.i like the fact that they tell you your blood type when you get your blood donated.

I think saving lives is good to participate in, i didnt however know how much blood was in the body. This makes me want to go find my blood type and give blood as son as possible.

  17. I thought that it was neat that the bags could separate our white and red blood cells so that if somebody needs one or the other they could get them. Also that there was 10-12 pints of blood in our body. i didnt know we had that much

  21. im alittle late on this blog so maybe i can still get credit? of some?
ive given blood twice. even if you dont like needles and seeing blood the feeling you get after giving blood is amazing knowing youve helped someone out without having to do anything but lay on a comfy bed and drink a sprite and eat some crackers. the only thing i think i learned from the speaker was maybe some bad jokes. but he tried so gotta give him credit
